Bullet For My Valentine, We Came As Romans & Bad Omens - Detroit, MI.

On October 7th, Bullet For My Valentine tore it down at The Fillmore in Detroit along with We Came As Romans and Bad Omens.

Bad Omens started the show with a high-energy set playing songs like “Malice” and “Glass Houses” while the crowd went wild! A lot of crowd interaction was nice to see from the opening band.

This night was especially hard for the guys in We Came As Romans. Frontman Kyle Pavone passed away in late August and in honor of Kyle and his legacy, they stayed on this tour. It seems as though keeping on with touring and talking about Kyle is really helping the band, the friends, and the fans get through this difficult time. The emotions flying through the room were incredible. There was no doubt that Kyle was with us all that night. When WCAR left the stage, the entire room was chanting Kyle’s name, it was beautiful.

The fans at The Fillmore were mental for Bullet For My Valentine. The crowd was insane during “Worthless”, and fans pumped their fists to “The Last Fight.” Frontman Matt Tuck had no need to sing during notable heavy songs such as “The Poison” and “Scream Aim Fire.” The newest member, drummer Jason Bowld showed off his skills by unleashing a wicked drum solo, lead guitarist Michael Paget and bassist Jamie Mathias decimated their strings during the “Army of Noise” guitar solo.

One of their last songs was older and more popular, “Tears Don’t Fall” off of their 2005 debut record The Poison. Bullet For My Valentine really controlled the crowd. Crowd surfers were nonstop biting their entire set, while an enormous circle pit kept half of the crowd busy for the entire set. Definitely a band you need to see and a show to remember!
