Lime Cordiale | Chicago, IL
During their North American tour, Australian pop-rock group Lime Cordiale made their way to Bottom Lounge in Chicago, Illinois. Social Cig kicked off the night some high-energy indie skate rock, playing “Granola Glasses” and brand new song “Teenagers,” which was released that same day. They closed out their set with “Milwaukee.
Windsor took the stage next to keep the party going, opening with “Friends I Barely Know” and continuing on with “July” and “TV.” By the time they finished their set, the room had fully filled out and the crowd was warmed up.
Lime Cordiale made their entrance, opening up with “Imposter Syndrome” and “Money.” The Chicago crowd loved every minute of this group as they all are multi-talented instrumentalists. Mid-song, the guitarist would break out a trombone, the vocalist/bassist would play a pocket trumpet, and the other guitar player would also play a clarinet. As they continued into the night, the band played “No Plans to Make Plans.” They closed out the night with a two song encore ending with “Inappropriate Behavior.”
