Pierce The Veil | Norfolk, VA

Pierce the Veil kicked off their tour with a sold-out show at Chartway Arena in Norfolk, Virginia on November 27th. They were supported by Jack Kays and Late Night Drive Home, who joined them for select fall dates.

As the lights dimmed, Late Night Drive Home took the stage. They opened their set with "Believe Me (Even If I’m Lying)," energizing the crowd with their vibrant performance. They played popular tracks like "Drug Asphyxiation" and "Euphoria." At one point, the audience illuminated the arena with the flash from their phones, amplifying the band's excitement.

Next up was Jack Kays, who brought an intense energy to the stage right from the start. They played fan favorites such as "MORBID MIND" and "Caffeine," showcasing raw emotion and vulnerable lyrics. The crowd responded with enthusiasm, bouncing and dancing throughout their set, which concluded with "SLEEP WHEN I’M DEAD" and "BOTTOM OF THE BOTTLE."

As the stage crew prepared for Pierce the Veil, the excitement in the arena was palpable. Fans held signs, some reading "I Held on Till May," expressing their love and support for the band. The lights turned red as the band took the stage. Vocalist Vic Fuentes leaped onto the riser with a megaphone, passionately singing "May These Noises Startle You in Your Sleep Tonight," and the crowd enthusiastically sang along. The rest of the band soon joined, transitioning into "Hell Above." During "Caraphernelia," Vic often swung the mic toward the audience, allowing them to sing the lyrics back to him. The band's constant movement kept the crowd engaged, even those in the stands.

They played new songs like "Emergency Contact" and "Pass the Nirvana," then slowed the tempo with "Even When I’m Not With You," which lit up the arena once again. The band displayed beaming smiles as they relished the love from their fans. They raised the energy once more with "One Hundred Sleepless Nights" and "King for a Day." The venue was filled with devoted fans, many of whom hugged and sang together.

Pierce the Veil wrapped up their set with one of their most beloved tracks, "Hold on Till May." They concluded the performance with explosive fire sparklers that lit up the arena, leaving fans with endless smiles as they exited the venue.
