Sueco | Madison, WI
Sueco rolled through Madison, WI on his It Was Fun While It Lasted tour supported by Killboy and Lil Aaron. Hundreds of people poured into Madison’s famous High Noon Saloon eager to see Sueco perform a sold out show. The LA artist released his song “Fast” in 2019 and it quickly gained traction through TikTok - ending up as a viral sound used in the app. Soon after the release of “Fast”, he signed a deal with Atlantic Records and has been performing nonstop since the end of 2021, including appearances at Reading and Leeds and Firefly Music Festival.
Killboy kicked off the night playing a genre-defying set ranging from pop to rock and metal to trap. The artist had a handful of fans at the show, but even though most of the crowd was seemingly unfamiliar, she kept everyone engaged and people were moving with her music.
The crowd really really started to pack in when Lil Aaron came out to play his emo rap hits. He played a variety of songs from his EPs 808 ROCK, YEAR OF THE DOG, and Dark Matter and albums GLOING PAIN$ and ROCK$TAR FAMOU$. Lil Aaron closed his set with his most popular hit “DRUGS”, and the crowd went wild.
Finally, the moment everyone was waiting for, Sueco took the stage. He entered by walking through the crowd and getting on stage, opening with his song “Motel 666.” In honor of his March release It Was Fun While It Lasted, he performed the majority of the album. Hands were up throughout the entire set, but the songs the crowd really went crazy for were “Sober/Hungover”, “fast”, and his closing song, “Paralyzed”. Throughout his set, Sueco went from getting in the pit to crowd surfing.
Once the show was over, the crowd demanded an encore. Everyone in the venue was absolutely in awe of his performance, and understandably so. After he was done with his set, he went to his merch table and gave his fans the chance to meet and take pictures with him. The show was truly phenomenal, no one could have been disappointed in the performance Sueco and his supporting acts brought to Madison on this tour.
