Valley | Chicago, IL

Canadian pop band Valley stopped at House of Blues in Chicago, IL as part of their tour in support of their upcoming album Lost In Translation.

Opening the evening was Aidan Bissett. Performing a set mostly comprised of songs from his most recent EP I’m Alright If You’re Okay, Bisset set the tone with his energetic live show and gift for genuine crowd interaction.

Valley followed, opening with fan-favorite “There’s Still A Light On In The House”. The room was electric, as the band flew through a fairly lengthy setlist in just an hour and a half. The show never allowed a dull moment - from sporadically switching instruments to well thought-out stage production that made songs like “A Phone Call In Amsterdam” feel like a movie. Valley even interpolated Smash Mouth’s “All Star” and Taylor Swift’s “You Belong With Me” into there a couple of their songs, keeping the crowd on their toes and generating some genuine laughs.
