A Day To Remember | Baltimore, MD

The Least Anticipated Album Tour stormed its way to the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, MD on June 25th. The tour consists of A Day to Remember, The Story So Far, Four Year Strong, and Pain of Truth.

Pain of Truth kicked off the show with "Blood on Your Hands," captivating the entire crowd, including security, with the infectious beat of the drums. This powerhouse New York hardcore band knows exactly how to get the crowd moving. As they continued their set with "Snake in Disguise," the addition of Parker Cannon on vocals sent the crowd into a frenzy, igniting the pit as the room quickly filled with eager fans.

Next up was Four Year Strong. They kicked off their set by playing “Brain Pain” and “It Must Really Suck to Be Four Year Strong Right Now.” These two songs instantly got the crowd singing along. The band had an infectious energy, constantly bouncing and moving around during their set. They continued their performance with the fan favorite, “Heroes Get Remembered, Legends Never Die.” This song showcased their powerhouse ability to deliver their classic pop-punk sound. When they reached the hardcore part of the breakdown, the crowd swarmed into a circle pit.

The Story So Far took the stage to an eruption of screams from the crowd. They kicked off their set with new songs from their latest album,  I Want to Disappear, immediately captivating the audience. The band's song selection for this tour was impeccable, igniting energy that spread throughout the venue. Vocalist Parker Cannon delivered a powerful and emotional performance, hitting every note perfectly, while the band's instruments resonated throughout the space. The set concluded with fan favorites "Roam" and "Nerve," inciting nonstop circle pits and crowd surfing.

The crowd could be heard chanting "ADTR" as they waited for the band to take the stage. When the lights dimmed, the Rocky theme song, "Gonna Fly Now", started playing and A Day to Remember took the stage amidst a shower of confetti. They kicked off their set with a number of old fan favorites such as "Stick & Bricks,” “All I Want,” and "2nd Sucks” - sending the crowd into a frenzy. At one point, vocalist Jeremy McKinnon asked the crowd to do the band’s classic request of having people crowd surf on top of each other like a human surfboard, and the crowd enthusiastically obliged. The band then continued their set with "Right Back At It Again,” during which a crew member dressed as Super Mario shot t-shirts into the crowd. About halfway through their set, they slowed things down and played "Have Faith In Me,” with the crowd singing along to every word. They then picked up the pace again and played some of their heavier songs, causing the crowd to form two mosh pits that eventually merged into one big pit. Jeremy then took a break to talk to the crowd, mentioning that they were about to play a song they never perform live, which turned out to be a cover of Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone.” The 23-song set took the crowd on a roller coaster of emotions, with "All Signs Point to Lauderdale,” "The Danger in Starting a Fire,” and "If It Means A Lot to You" showcasing a perfect blend of pop-punk and hardcore sounds. As the band left the stage, the crowd was left wanting more, and the band obliged by returning to play two encore songs before ending the set with a bang of confetti and "The Downfall of Us All,” leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.
