Alkaline Trio | Austin, TX

On February 27th, 2024 Alkaline Trio brought the Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs Tour to Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater in Austin, Texas, along with Drug Church and Worriers.

The show kicked off with Worriers, a dancey punk band from Brooklyn, NY. Warming up the crowd with songs off their latest album Trust Your Guts, as well as hits such as “They / Them / Theirs” and “Yes All Cops.” Next up was Drug Church from Albany, NY, who hit the stage with crowd favorite “Grubby.” Fight riffs and fast tempos got the crowd moving and moshing the whole set, setting the stage for a party with the headliner.

To end the night, Alkaline Trio (who was verified by Drug Church as a punk band before the show) took the stage, kicking off their set with “Hot for Preacher” and “We’ve Had Enough.” The timeless band from Chicago had everyone off their feet for songs from their newest album Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs, and in the sky crowd surfing for the hits. A high energy, sing-along evening from start to finish, and a tour that you won’t want to miss.
