A Will Away | Nashville, TN
Last week, A Will Away rolled through Nashville with Homesafe and Valleyheart.
Nashville-local Khamsin opened the show. A short but sweet set warmed up the crowd from the cold and rain.
Valleyheart began their first night of the tour to a full room of eager ears. Playing songs like “Nowadays” and “Vampire Smile” got the crowd excited for the rest of the night .
A Will Away took the stage and grabbed the audience’s attention to shift from their Monday woes to the music on the stage. Opening with the classic that is “My Sitter”, it became clear that Nashville loves A Will Away as much as the band loves Nashville. The band played hits from their various releases, focusing primarily on songs from Stew and Soup. Closing out their set with “The Rock”, their long overdue visit to music city was welcomed and appreciated.
Homesafe closed out the show with a set that was comforting and familiar even to those that had never seen them play live before. A 40-minute set with an unexpected cover of “Mr. Brightside” ended the night on a high note.
