Cassadee Pope | Nashville, TN

Cassadee Pope closed out her year by playing an intimate and sold out show at The East Room in Nashville.

Fans immediately unveiled the signs they had made saying “we won’t leave” during the second song of the night, “People That I Love Leave.” Caught off guard, Pope called on the crowd to help her sing the song while she took a moment of appreciation. The night was filled with songs from her entire career and even special guests such as Taylor Acorn for “Coma” and Alex Lipshaw from the Hey Monday days for “How You Love Me Now.” A brief acoustic interlude of “Mixtape for Christmas,” “FYI,” and “Candles” gave the rest of the band a break and a chance to fix some tech issues before closing out the night on a high note. Pope played an unreleased song, “Secrets,” from her yet-to-be announced 2024 album before transitioning into the encore without the fanfare of leaving and returning to the stage. A cover of Avril Lavigne’s “I’m With You” and “Homecoming” ended the night and left fans eagerly waiting to see what the singer has in store for next year along with the Hey Monday reunion at When We Were Young Festival.
