Rocket Ship, Boston-based alt pop band, is coming at us with “Dial Tone”, a joyous and laid back single that mixes elements of both the MySpace era and 80s/90s hits about soughting out new romance. This track embodies an evolution from the band’s beginnings, exemplifying complex instrumentals and dynamic melodies that are bright and punchy, capturing your attention in every beat. “Dial Tone” lands perfectly in the timeline of the group’s genre, while providing an individualistic sound that will have you up on your feet. It’s safe to say Rocket Ship is only going up from here.
