Freddie Dredd | Atlanta, GA

On March 12th, Freddie Dredd pulled up and brought the beats to Center Stage-The Loft for a sold out show presented by Rolling Loud and Rival Entertainment. Coming along for the ride was Doomshop Records, which consists of several artists collaborating for the set. As the crowd kept growing, so did the energy, making for a legendary night.

Doomshop Records began their set around 8PM. On stage, artists including Patrick Perkins, Ned Bundy, Soul Zay, MC Holocaust, Lil Kaine, and Cursed spent the night supplying rhythmic beats and strong flow to get the crowd pumped up and into it. As one artist would sing, others would be on stage dancing and getting the crowd into it along as feeling the good vibes themselves.

As Doomshop Records’ set came to an end, the crowd started chanting for Freddie, waiting for the artist to show on stage. As he came out, the crowd erupted into cheers, already getting excited as the intro for “Evil Fantasy” began. Throughout the night, Freddie Dredd kept the crowd in his control, always making sure they were going as hard as they could and getting a good moshpit going in the center. In celebration of his album Freddie’s Inferno (Deluxe) releasing February 22nd, Freddie pulled quite a few songs from the album and the crowd never stood still. Ending the night with his hit “GTG”, Freddie Dredd brought the heat to Atlanta and we can’t wait to see him again.

Kate Kastelic

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, I have always had a passion for live music photography. Since moving to Atlanta after high school to pursue college softball, it opened up a door into the live underground music scene. Since then, I have worked with a number of underground bands and have had opportunities to shoot festivals and bigger artists. I look forward to working with the amazing team that CHARMMusic Magazine has to offer, and can’t wait to share what I see through my lens.
