Hatebreed | Milwaukee, WI

Hatebreed's tour celebrating the twentieth birthday of The Rise of Brutality came through Milwaukee, WI at The Rave on September 7th.

Opening up the show were heavy hitters Jesus Piece. The moment they started playing, the room opened up and the crowd immediately started going crazy, only to show what the rest of the night had in store.

Up next was Vien.fm to keep the crowd warm while opening with "Progenitor". Vocalist Anthony DiDio climbed into the crowd to scream into their faces while they screamed the words back at him. They closed out with "Orgy in the Morgue".

You could feel the energy shift as hardcore legends Terror took the stage by force, with vocalist Scott Vogel stating, "I hate these barricades… get up here.” People who managed to get onto the stage were stage diving and crowd surfing like crazy. The band played a good amount of songs from their newest album Pain Into Power, but still took it back to songs like "Return to Strength" and "Keepers of the Faith".

The circle pits were massive and did not stop moving while the mighty Hatebreed played fan favorite "Destroy Everything" and "Doomsayer". They were also celebrating bass player Chris Beattie's birthday, so this night in Milwaukee was extra special. They put on a great show and are just purely aggressive on stage.
