Middle Kids | Chicago, IL

Middle Kids brought their Faith Crisis Pt 1 tour to Chicago’s Thalia Hall on June 23rd, 2024.

They opened their set up the same way the album starts with “Petition” straight into “Dramamine.” The band commanded the attention of the room immediately as the entire room was in awe of frontwoman Hannah Joy’s voice.

Sticking to the theme of an album tour, their set consisted of eight of the thirteen tracks from Faith Crisis Pt 1, mixed in with other career high points like “R U 4 Me,” “Stacking Chairs,” and “Cellophane (Brain)” off their second LP Today We’re the Greatest and even “Salt Eyes” off of the New Songs for Old Problems EP and “Your Love” from their self titled EP.

Middle Kids proved once again that they’re one of the best bands in the scene and left everyone eager for the next time they’ll be in town.

Hey, I’m Kaitlyn! I’m a full-time photographer and talent buyer here in Chicago! I started doing photography when I was 8 years old and have been a full-time photographer with a focus on live music, weddings & couples since 2017!

I started CHARM back in 2017 as a way for my friends to cover bigger shows and it’s just grown like a weed since then. After a brief covid-related hiatus, Erin joined me in bringing it back & I couldn’t be more excited to be back with such an incredible team.
