Nightly | Chicago, IL

Nightly brought their Wear Your Heart Out tour with Knox and NIGHTBREAKERS to The Metro in Chicago, IL on October 25th.

NIGHTBREAKERS kicked the evening off as the room started filling up. Their set was packed with energy, dancing and tons of personality, which really showcased how they were the perfect opening band for this show.

Knox took the stage next and had complete control of the crowd from the second he started. His set was filled with relatable lyrics matched up perfectly with catchy beats that had everyone singing and dancing along. As the set was nearing the end, he played an unreleased track called “Girl on the Internet” before closing the night out with his viral TikTok tracks “Sneakers” and “Not the 1975.”

By the time Nightly took the stage, they had transformed it with a massive LED screen, a park bench, a light-up mailbox and a light-up phone booth, giving the room a completely different vibe and setting the for what was coming next. From the second they took the stage, vocalist Jonathan Capeci was interacting with the crowd and really making it feel like you were part of the show the entire time. They even took a minute to dedicate a song to a couple in the crowd who told them it was their wedding song.

Before the set was over, they took a second to thank the crowd for coming out on a weeknight in the cold, but also to let everyone know that they’re already working on new music (despite their most recent album, Wear Your Heart Out, only being a couple months old), and shared that the next time they’re here, they want to headline House of Blues.

Overall, it was an incredible show from start to finish & had everyone dancing the entire evening.

Hey, I’m Kaitlyn! I’m a full-time photographer and talent buyer here in Chicago! I started doing photography when I was 8 years old and have been a full-time photographer with a focus on live music, weddings & couples since 2017!

I started CHARM back in 2017 as a way for my friends to cover bigger shows and it’s just grown like a weed since then. After a brief covid-related hiatus, Erin joined me in bringing it back & I couldn’t be more excited to be back with such an incredible team.
