Slow Joy | Chicago, IL

Slow Joy is currently on tour promoting their new EP Mi Amigo Slow Joy. On Saturday June 8th, they made a stop in Chicago at Gman Tavern. Daundry, a Chicago local shoegaze band kicked off the show.

Slow Joy took the stage with an intro and went right into “Crawl II,” and right away everyone came to the front of the room and started dancing and singing. Slow Joy played a perfect set as they continued on with “Pressure,” “Crawling,” and “Golden Goddess.” At one point, everyone in the room lit the stage with their phones as Esteban ran into the crowd and played guitar surrounded by passionate fans. They closed out the set with new songs “4U,” “King Cowboy,” and a very energetic version of “Pulling Teeth.”
