Suki Waterhouse | Nashville, TN

On Saturday, the final leg of the Coolest Place in the World Tour rolled through Basement East in Nashville.

Blondshell opened the sold-out show and warmed up the crowd with a surprisingly fast 30 minute set. The band ran through their singles such as “Veronica Mars” and “Olympus” and even pulled out a cover of “Disappointment” by The Cranberries.

When Suki Waterhouse finally took the stage, she managed to put the entire room under a spell and had everyone’s attention. The first handful of songs were off of her album I Can’t Let Go before the band began to bounce between the Milk Teeth EP. Halfway through, Suki explained the meaning behind her song, and the name of the tour, “Coolest Place in the World”, divulging that it’s about the stereotypical “navy sheets guy.” After the final song, “Melrose Meltdown”, the band walked off stage for a quick breather before coming out for an encore of “Blessed” and the iconic “Good Looking”.
