Superkick to the face. An appropriate phrase for Superkick’s new single “Uncomfort(able)”. A fun cacophony of musical genius, this single will make anyone jump up and dance. The slow sounds of a drink opening at the beginning of the sound definitely do not prepare you for the jump right into a classic dancefloor anthem. I was bobbing my head and dancing along from the start.

A bouncing lead guitar and heavy-hitting rhythm guitar gives the song a hearty, full personality. Paired with the superb vocal harmonies and exquisite drum rhythms, you’d be silly not to listen. Every time I listened to the song I was struck with this feeling of fun, nostalgia, and excitement. For what? I’m not sure.

Anyone who’s a fan of garage rock or English rock at all must not pass this up.
