The Sound of Animals Fighting | Chicago, IL

The Sound of Animals Fighting was on tour following the surprise release of their EP APESHIT that was released on December 8th, 2022. On their stop in Chicago on January 17th, Kitty & The Pom Poms and pop rock group Concrete Castles kicked the night off.

Hail the Sun took the stage by storm opening the set with “Rolling Out the Red Carpet”. Donvan Melero is a force that cannot be ignored as he bounces around the stage - especially when he decides to play drums while flawlessly performing his vocals. They closed out with fan favorite “Human Target Practice”.

The Sound of Animals Fighting, the band everyone thought they would never have the chance to see, took the stage opening with new songs “Wolf” and “Apeshit”, flowing into playing older songs like “I, the Swan” and “skullFlower” throughout the set. The show they put on is interesting to say the least as Anthony Green spins a light around and sings while someone else reads an excerpt from a book. Regardless, they put on one hell of a performance. With this coming to an end, we all hope to see them again very soon.
