Wilderado | Chicago, IL
Lollapalooza was happening in Chicago last week, and that means AFTERSHOWS! Bottom Lounge hosted a sold-out late night aftershow featuring Wilderado, a pop rock group that played the fest earlier in the day.
Kicking off the show was Happy Landing, a feel-good folk band from Mississippi. They gave an energetic performance despite playing Lollapalooza earlier that day. At the end of the set, they said, “for this last song, I want everyone to jump and dance” before closing with “Arkansas.”
Wilderado took the stage at midnight opening with “Stranger” and “Astronaut.” Mid-way through “Stranger," there was a minor health issue in the crowd, so they stopped the show, then started the song over. Mid-way through the set, the vocalist Max asked the crowd, “Who was at Lolla today? Oh like 7 of you, that's cool. We were much more looking forward to this show anyways, we know who you all are, we know you are here for us. There we played to a bunch of Stray Kids fans, and there's a LOT of them. So thank you for being here.” They gave the fans what they wanted and closed with “Siren” and “Rubble to Rubble.”
