The Wonder Years | Washington DC
Every so often, a band comes around that understands the dynamic of a live show better than just about anyone. From the quality of light design to the energy on stage, to the connection to the crowd, and even the choice of support acts - everything comes together for an experience that nobody in attendance is soon to forget. For the last decade, The Wonder Years have spent their time honing their live experience into something that borders on spiritual. Seeing them perform for the first time in Washington, DC at the historic Howard Theatre was no exception. The show was intimate, the energy was high, and it was everything I’ve come to expect from The Wonder Years in a live setting.

All Time Low | Detroit, MI
As someone who grew up going to All Time Low shows, there’s nothing quite like reliving it in a way that you get to capture it for everyone else to remember. On August 7th, I got the opportunity to do just that when they brought The Summer Ever After Tour alongside Dashboard Confessional & Gnash to the Masonic Temple Theater in Detroit, MI.
Vans Warped Tour | Chicago & Milwaukee
In a way it sort of felt like graduation, a celebration of all that was despite an underlying sadness that it was ending at all. Warped Tour is so much more than a traveling tour; whether you had the chance to experience it firsthand or not there's no doubt that it has its own community and has been for years. In a world where it can feel like our differences tear us apart there's something to be said about the way music and art can bring so many together despite all of that.
Sworn In | Milwaukee, WI
Another hot summer day in The Midwest as people head to JJ’s for another show in the famous Wisconsin basement. But this was not just any ordinary show, a lot of people’s favorite EP was going to be performed in full for the first time in years.
