Babyfang "In The Face Of" Review

Brooklyn rock band babyfang is releasing their debut LP In The Face Of on February 3rd. “GOAN GO” is the first single to play on the record, which is accompanied by the band’s introductory music video, released on January 9th. The group has described this specific track as “a song about that existential dread that’s always chillin’ courtside during those games called life,” which supports the basis of their platform.

babyfang exemplifies the power of scrutinizing the world around you and creating tangibility in all that feels lost through each song they’ve put into this collection. The pairing of both punchiness and mellow lyrics and instrumentals throughout the EP fosters a noteworthy sound of bona fide emotion. The band’s carefully crafted artistry is held to the utmost priority, as it is the backbone of their proclamation of rage, elation, and all of the in-between.

The community brought together by babyfang, alongside their eminent talent, requires that those who listen possess a deep appreciation for eclectic, true-to-life expression. You can look forward to witnessing babyfang’s passion behind their creation, as the album’s release show will be held at Market Hotel in Brooklyn on February 9th.
