Gogol Bordello | Waukegan, IL

Punk shows aren’t something usually held in theaters. However, Genesee Theater in Waukegan, IL brought in punks Gogol Bordello on October 23rd. Crazy and the Brains kicked off the night with a high-energy performance.

Gogol Bordello took the stage ready to party with a crowd that did not want to stay in their seats. The band is currently on tour celebrating the release of their full-length Solidaritine. They played new songs "Forces of Victory", and "Fire on Ice Floe" throughout the night while also playing fan favorites "Wanderlust King", "Start Wearing Purple", and "Not a Crime". 

It is apparent that Gogol Bordello knows what they are doing and executes it perfectly. Seeing this band live is a must.
