Young Culture & Super American | Nashville, TN

This past weekend, Young Culture coheadlined a show with Super American in Nashville as part of their Fall 2022 tour. They were supported by Arms Length and Joey Fleming of In Her Own Words.

Joey started the night off with an intimate acoustic set and immediately broke the ice between artist and viewer by maintaining casual interactions and jokes with the crowd. This engagement was seen throughout the night as venue staff continued to comment on how friendly this touring package was.

Up next was Arms Length of Belleville, Ontario. The energy immediately jumped as the drums brought in tracks like “Garamond” and fan favorite “Watercolour”.

Super American took the stage next. This was a band I was not as familiar with and was immediately hooked. Their catchy bass riffs, dual vocals, and diverse setlist kept the crowd engaged all night.

When Young Culture took the stage it was like the crowd was greeting old friends. The band had a knack for remembering people from the crowd who had seen them before on previous tours. Their setlist varied from older releases to tracks from their upcoming release You Had to Be There. The energy only increased throughout their 45 min set of stage diving and finger pointing.

At the close of the set, the bands all took the time to say hi to fans and take pictures. If you haven’t checked out these bands I highly recommend you do. Their tour will continue into mid November 2022 before Young Culture hops on the road with State Champs.

Hi my name is Oliver and I currently live in Clarksville, TN but there’s a chance I will be moving soon. I first picked up a camera at the end of 2018 and have been loving it ever since.
