Ice Nine Kills | Austin, TX

On August 23rd, 2023 Ice Nine Kills brought their Fear The Premiere Tour to Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheater in Austin, Texas. 

Ohio based quartet The Plot In You took the stage. They played some fan favorites like “The One You Loved” and “My Old Ways”, as well as their new bangers “Divide” and “Forgotten”. Their cathartic melodies and hammering distorted guitar were perfect to get the crowd amped up. 

Next up, LA-based band Set It Off. The feel-good vibes and dance-worthy pop melodies kept the crowd off their feet and screaming along to hits like “Hypnotize” and “Why Worry”. Their energy prepared the crowd for what was about to come.

The moment everyone had been waiting for, Massachusetts metalcore group Ice Nine Kills performed a set full of retellings of stories from their favorite horror films with “Hit To Be Scared”, “Stabbing In The Dark”, “IT Is The End”, and more. This was not a typical live show with just a band and their instruments, it was a full theatrical performance with props and costume changes to fit the stories they told. Ice Nine Kills is a must-see band if you get the chance, with an amazing sound and high quality production that will not disappointed.
