Pet Symmetry | Cleveland, OH

In celebration of 10 years of being a band, Pet Symmetry performed 10 shows in 10 days in 10 different cities. Coming along for the ride was Camp Trash and Retirement Party.

On May 26th, The Pet Symmetry tour came to Cleveland, Ohio, performing at No Class. Starting the night off was Cleveland locals Youth Pallet. The Cleveland rock band performed in celebration of their new album Deformer, which was released on April 28th. The band did a great job in getting the crowd ready and feeling good for what was to come.

Next up for the night was Camp Trash, the alt-rock Florida natives who really brought the heat. Songs including “Bobby” and “Lake Erie Boys” really got the crowd going, heads bobbing up and down the entire Camp Trash set. 

Retirement Party’s set was a huge success for the Cleveland crowd. After an assumed goodbye EP release in June of last year, Retirement Party came back to life for the 10-Year Pet Symmetry Tour. Filling in to help the alive-again rock band, guitarist/vocalist Evan Weiss and drummer Marcus Nuccio of Pet Symmetry played alongside Retirement Party’s Cee Dertz and Avery Springer. When playing their song “Meet Me in Montauk”, the crowd just went wild, opening up a pit and enjoying the presence of such great bands.

At around 10:30, Pet Symmetry took the stage and the crowd roared. Pet Symmetry started off with “My Exhausted Month (of May)” and everyone was screaming back the words to their 2015 hit release. As the night went on, the crowd just got louder and louder, allowing for the mosh pit to grow and people to run around within it. At one point, Pet Symmetry paused their set, allowing Eric Czaja to ride a skateboard to split the crowd. As the night came to a close, Pet Symmetry ended with their Two Songs About Cars. Two Songs with Long Titles. EP, which holds the band’s two most-known songs. 

One of the best lineups a tour has to offer, Pet Symmetry and company did not disappoint, making the night fun for everyone.
