Story of The Year | Atlanta, GA

This past Saturday, Story of the Year rolled into Center Stage in Atlanta as part of their current US tour with Hawthorne Heights and Escape the Fate. One by one, fans began to fill the venue, and anticipation grew for a night full of great music.

The evening kicked off with a high-intensity set from Nevada’s Escape the Fate. Playing songs from each of their last five records, Escape the Fate set the evening off right with a set that ensured fans that this would be a night to remember.

Up next were 2000’s emo darlings, Hawthorne Heights. The band ripped through a set full of fan favorites such as ‘Saying Sorry’, ‘Niki FM’, and ‘Ohio is for Lovers’; instantly flooding the room with nostalgia.

Finally, Story of the Year took to the stage - set to prove once again that they are one of the greatest bands of their generation. The band came out swinging with a career-spanning setlist full of hits, closing the night with a compilation of covers in honor of all of the friends they have made over the years. The band returned to the stage for an encore, performing fan favorite ‘Until the Day I Die’, as well as a new song, ‘Real Life’ - the first single from their next studio album, set to release later this year.
