The 502's | Atlanta, GA

The 502’s and Oliver Hazard began their incredible Fresh Squeezed Happiness Tour in Atlanta, GA. The tour is visiting 20 states over the course of January, February, and March; bringing The 502’s folky pop to all those in need.

The night began with Oliver Hazard, an artist coming from Waterville, OH. The indie folk artist shared sweet and melodic tunes to those in the crowd. Oliver played hit after hit, having “Dandelion”, “Illinois”, and “Caesar Knows” be the biggest of the night. Oliver Hazard made sure to bring the heat with his wonderful songs and had everyone smiling from start to finish.

The 502’s, coming on stage around 9:15pm, brought out all of the excitement from the crowd. Completely filling their stage with all six members of the band, their music instantly bounced off the walls, making everyone want to dance and sing. Their hits “Magdalene” and “Just a Little While” had even the bar dancing. Hours before, the band released a new single called “Backstage in Glasgow”, making the crowd go crazy with excitement. As the song neared its end, they mentioned their plan on releasing six more songs over the course of the tour.

The Fresh Squeezed Happiness Tour is definitely not one to miss. The overall feeling, vibe, and emotion of the concert made it a night to remember, and the fun and refreshing band will not disappoint with their new songs.

Kate Kastelic

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, I have always had a passion for live music photography. Since moving to Atlanta after high school to pursue college softball, it opened up a door into the live underground music scene. Since then, I have worked with a number of underground bands and have had opportunities to shoot festivals and bigger artists. I look forward to working with the amazing team that CHARMMusic Magazine has to offer, and can’t wait to share what I see through my lens.
