Darkbloom, the newest album from We Came As Romans is making its rounds. February 15th at House of Blues Chicago was the sold out final date of the band’s tour in support of the new album.

Brand of Sacrifice, Canadian deathcore band kicked off the night playing songs like “Dawn”, “Lifeblood”, and “Eclipse”. Erra then took the stage and kept up the energy while playing “Pull From the Ghost” and “Scorpion Hymn”.

We Came As Romans, the band everyone was there to see, took the stage and played one of their best sets to date. Darkbloom is the first album from the band since the passing of vocalist Kyle Pavone, and you can really feel the emotion that they poured into it. This emotion reached a high point when they played “One More Day”, a song dedicated to Kyle. Towards the middle of the show, the band let fans vote on a song as they played three songs off the album Tracing Back Roots - “Tracing Back Roots”, “Hope”, and “Fade Away”. We Came As Romans closed out the night by inviting JT of Erra out for guest vocals on “Doublespeak”, as well as Kyle of Brand of Sacrifice for his feature on “Darkbloom”.
