YAM HAUS | Chicago, IL

YAM HAUS celebrated the closing night of their fall tour celebrating the release of their new EP Stupid and Famous at Lincoln Hall in Chicago, IL on November 18th.

The supporting band, Sawyer, opened the night up by playing a mix of original music, including their newest release "Colors,” and a cover of Coldplay's "Yellow."

YAM HAUS took the stage as the “Van Rot” video was playing in the background before they opened their set with “So Long.” They are a band that truly knows how to have fun, even after being on the road for six weeks, as they try to find a new gimmick each night. The gimmick ended up being two fans having birthdays three days prior to the show, after debating whether or not it had been too long, they played Happy Birthday to celebrate from the stage.

The band continued on with two back-to-back songs about being in cars, “Making Out In Cars” and “Give Me The Keys.” Towards the end of the night, they played the title track from their new album, “Stupid and Famous,” and mid-way through the song vocalist Lars said “Open this pit up” and the room split, the song kicked back in and the fans went wild before closing out the night with “Sandcastle.”
