Harbour "Swimming In My Head" Review
A signature sound for HARBOUR songs is the instrumental breaks around the midway point, somewhat of a slow down before it kicks up again, which is followed up by another sort of break this time, highlighting the vocals. Slick guitar and smashing drums (that almost feel like they match anxious heartbeats) drive home the overall emotion and message of the song. These elements coupled with the vocal talent showcased in the high notes that help carry the song to a close make “Swimming In My Head” a stellar example of just what HARBOUR is known for.
Dayseeker "Dark Sun" Review
Dark Sun, the latest from Orange County-based rock outfit Dayseeker, is a pleasant amalgamation of several different sonic avenues, blended together in unique and unexpected ways to craft a hard-hitting and dynamic collection of songs. The album sees the band’s somber lyricism and powerful emotion conveyed behind a variety of sounds, with drop-tuned guitars and pounding drums finding themselves intertwined with electronic synths and subs, making for a diverse and exciting listen.

The Backseat Lovers "Waiting to Spill" Album Review
Waiting to Spill, the newest record from The Backseat Lovers (and Capitol Records debut) comes three years after their self-released album When We Were Friends. The downtime served this band well - the sound present on Waiting to Spill is still distinctly recognizable as The Backseat Lovers.
