The first day of February 2023 was a memorable one for anyone that was at the Basement East in Nashville, TN. Emo Night Nashville and Nothingless hosted an incredible party featuring The Foxies, Maggie Miles, Manic. and Caroline Romano. All proceeds were donated to Hope for the Day, a non-profit movement empowering the conversation on proactive suicide prevention and mental health education.
Caye 'We Love" Interview
Following the release of his album We Love, the artist/producer/songwriter Caye sat down with us for a little chat. The musician from Santa Monica unveiled an album that reflects his own experiences as a creative and as a person. He wrote and produced all the songs almost exclusively by himself and experimented with various sounds. From wavy didgeridoo lines, and sultry piano melodies to high-flying guitar solos, and energetic basslines, Caye creates music that’s emotionally engaging and spectacularly cinematic.

On Tuesday night, The Basement East filled to the brim with folk fanatics to hear Oliver Hazard and The 502’s live.
Opening the Fresh Squeezed Happiness Tour, the three piece band made it their mission to win over the room. They didn’t let the hum of conversation from the crowd bother them as they played through fan favorites like “Caesar Knows” and “Illinois”, as well as their newest song, “Ballerina”.
